Weather: Karnival of the Arts 2026 EAST will take place rain or shine - pack accordingly. No refunds will be given. Our indoor and outdoor stages are weatherproof!

Alcoholic Beverages: This event is BYOB. Underage drinking is not allowed, and if suspected, you will be prompted to provide proper identification. Failure to provide identification will result in being escorted off the premises.

Security and Safety: Karnival of the Arts will be staffed with a security team to secure the safety & wellbeing of everybody at Karnival of the Arts, and to enforce its policies in order to make this event experience safe and fun for everyone. Please respect and follow all rules and regulations, as they were created with your safety in mind.

Health and Common Sense: We want to ensure that all of our visitors have a healthy, fun, and safe festival experience. Please take these steps to make sure you’re feeling great during and after the festival:

1. Stay Hydrated

2. Eat regularly

3. Dress appropriately for the weather

4. Protect yourself from the sun - bring sunscreen and bug spray

5. Leave valuable items at home

6. Be prepared for camping (tent, flashlight, extra clothes, sleeping bag, etc.)

7. Be Kind

Medical and Pre-Existing Medical Needs: The medical tent is located near the front gate, and is staffed by a trained medical team 24 hours per day. Be sure to take note of its location as you arrive. Basic first-aid and emergency medical interventions will be available at the medical tent, and staff members have the means to contact additional medical personnel if the need should arise. Please be sure to bring any prescribed medications, including asthma inhalers & Epi-Pens, and seek help if a medical emergency occurs.

Acts and Set Times: All performers have confirmed their appearance at Karnival of the Arts 2026, and a complete list of set times will be released prior to the event. However, performances are subject to change without notice.

Lost & Found: Lost and found will be located at the Merch Stand. Please turn in any lost items you find, and check Merch if you have lost something.

​

Please be courteous to our neighbors: The Kempton Community Center in Kempton, PA has been very kind in allowing us to use the venue. Show respect for them when you enter and leave the festival. Please do not litter.

COMMON QUESTIONS:

ACCESSING THE VENUE

​

• What time does the gate open? 12pm on Thursday, Sept. 3rd, 2026

• When does the box office/gate close? The box office is located at the front gate and remains open for the entire duration of the festival.

• Can I come to the festival early? Gates open to the public @ 12pm Thursday, Sept. 3rd, 2026. Only vendors and staff are permitted to enter earlier. 

• What is the address? Kempton Community Center - 83 Community Center Dr, Kempton, PA 19529

• Can I leave and re-enter? Yes. All attendees must present a wristband upon re-entering the festival.

• When do I have to leave? All attendees will need to vacate the premises by 3pm on Monday September 7th.

TICKETING

​

• Do kids have to pay to get in? Admission is FREE for children 12 and under, and special pricing for children ages 13-17 is available HERE; however, anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

• What is the cost to park? It is $20.00 to park your car. You can purchase a parking pass at the gate or HERE.

• How much do tickets cost and where can I get them? All ticket info is available HERE.

• Can I buy a single day pass? Single day passes will be available for purchase at the gate or online HERE. Parking passes are not included and must be purchased separately online and at the gate.

• If I bought a ticket online, can I upgrade (add days/VIP access)? Yes, you can purchase a ticket upgrade online or at the gate. Click HERE for a guide to upgrade passes online. To upgrade at the front gate you must present your purchased ticket and pay the difference of the upgrade.

CAMPING

​

• Is there car camping? Yes there is car camping, but it is not included with the purchase of a GA Ticket. All GA ticket holders MUST buy a separate car camping pass to camp next to their car, available HERE. You do not need to purchase a separate parking pass if you have purchased a car camping pass. Only staff, vendors, and VIPs get free car camping. 

• Is there RV/oversized vehicle camping? Yes, and space is LIMITED. You can purchase RV parking passes HERE. RV passes are available with or without an electrical hookup.

• What is an RV or oversized vehicle? Any vehicle with more than 2 axles exceeding 22 feet in length and vehicles carrying a trailer, motor coach RV, etc.

• Can I buy electricity access if I don’t have an RV? Yes, but you must purchase an RV pass with electrical hookup.

• Can I bring a generator? Yes, you can bring QUIET generators only.

• Can I have a personal fire? Yes, raised fire pits and camp grills/stoves are permitted. Fires must NEVER be left unattended and should be at least 10ft from any flammable/combustible objects. Fires must be extinguished before leaving your campsite or going to sleep. Additionally, there will be a community fire pit set up in the middle of the venue to keep everyone warm at night. Karnival of the Arts reserves the right to extinguish any fire or remove the rights of fires at a campsite for any reason.

• Are there quiet places to camp? Yes, quiet & family camping areas will be marked on the festival map. Quiet hours throughout the festival are from 4am-9am.

• Is there a hotel nearby? Please do an online search for the most up-to-date hotel availability.

FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES & ATMOSPHERE

​

• Is it a family atmosphere? Are there activities for kids? Sure are! There are tons of fun activities for everyone. There will be workshops throughout the festival and activities at the KIDS ZONE during the day where kids can join in and make exciting crafts, learn, and meet new friends! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the festival, especially at the KIDS ZONE.

• Will there be Activities or Workshops? Yes, a variety of workshops will be held over the Festival weekend. Schedules will be posted online and printed versions will be available at the festival.

• Can I bring my totem? Yes, but when carrying it into stage areas please be mindful of obstructing people’s views and the media team capturing photos & video footage of performers.

• Can I bring my dog? Yes, friendly pets are allowed on the festival grounds, but MUST be on leash at all times and accompanied by an owner or guardian. Please clean up after your pet; if you cannot take responsibility for your pet please leave them at home. Failure to comply with the rules will result in immediate ejection from the festival. No refunds. No exceptions.

• Can I bring alcohol? This event is BYOB. Underage drinking is not allowed, and if suspected, you will be prompted to provide proper identification. Failure to provide identification will result in being escorted off the premises. No refunds. No exceptions.

• Can I participate in the open burns? Yes, however you can only participate in the open burns if you have performers’ insurance and have participated in the fire safety meetings.

AMENITIES & LOGISTICS

​

• Is there food available for purchase? Yes, there will be a variety of food vendors with diverse offerings. Hours of operation vary.

• Will there be vegetarian and vegan food available for purchase? Yes; there is a variety of food vendors with diverse offerings. Be sure to ask/confirm with vendors, especially if you have food allergies. 

• What is the bathroom situation? Permanent restrooms with plumbing are on site. There will also be porta-potties and hand wash stations. Additional handicapped-accessible portable toilets will also be available.

• Are there showers? Yes, there are showers available on site.

• What happens if it rains? If it rains, you get wet! Be prepared; bring extra clothes and weatherproofing for your tent. This is a rain or shine event!

• Is there an ATM? Yes, there will be two ATMS.

• What else is nearby? Kempton has a number of restaurants, stores, and more major amenities are available in nearby Allentown, PA.
